What your client sees
The portal has three sections, in a light or dark theme. Drafts, version history, hours and budgets stay on your side.
A front page you put together yourself, by hand or through the API.
The published ones, in the order you choose and with their date.
To open tickets (name, email, project, subject, message and up to five attachments) and follow the conversations while they’re open.
Reports
You write the report in HTML and Wolovy adds the charts: bars, lines, areas and donuts, counters, progress bars, KPI blocks and comparisons between two periods. They come out in your brand colour, and the content never runs code.
Publishing
Saving a draft never touches what the client sees.
A ten-minute link shows it exactly as the client will see it.
Every publication is a numbered version. Up to fifty per report.
An earlier version goes back to the draft; it isn’t live until you publish it.
Notices
The notice goes out from your own mail server, to each recipient separately, with your template and your signature. It stays in the log with the date, the subject, who it went to and whether it went out.
Tickets
What the client asks for in the portal lands in Tickets with its code, assigned to whoever you choose, and the team sees it straight away. Every reply reaches the client by email with a link to the conversation.
On their website
Besides the link, every portal has an embeddable version: dashboard and reports in an iframe, read-only and without tickets. It only works on the domains you allow.
<iframe src="https://app.wolovy.com/api/client-portal/e/<EMBED_TOKEN>"
style="width:100%;min-height:800px;border:0"
loading="lazy" referrerpolicy="no-referrer"></iframe>Guests
In Project Management you can invite people from outside with a link by email, no account needed. They see the projects you invite them to and nothing else in Wolovy.
Brand
Your primary colour on links and charts, one of five typefaces, your signature on emails and your client’s logo in their menu.
Each portal has its own language: every client sees it in theirs.
The link lasts 60 days and renews itself every time you send a notice. Regenerating it kills the old one at once.
API
With a company API key you can create, edit, reorder and publish portal reports. Whatever arrives through the API comes in as a draft unless you ask to publish it, and each version is labelled as created by the API.
Read the API documentationcurl -X POST "https://app.wolovy.com/api/client-portals/<PORTAL_ID>/entries" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "X-Company-Token: <TOKEN>" \
-d '{"title":"September 2026","html":"<h1>…</h1><div data-chart=\"…\"></div>"}'Questions
No. They come in through their link, with no username or password.
The access link lasts 60 days and renews itself every time you send a notice. The embed link never expires.
No. Only what you publish in their portal.
It stops working at once. The client sees a not-found page, the same as for a link that never existed.
Spanish, Catalan, English, French, Italian and German. Each portal has its own.
Anyone with the link. Clients don’t count as paying users.
Yes, with your own AI and the API: the report arrives as a draft and you publish it.
