What’s new
What has changed in Wolovy, newest first.
September 2026
Your client’s logo on their portal
In each portal’s General tab, click Upload logo and pick a PNG, JPG, GIF or WEBP image. It shows in the portal menu, above its name, and you see it straight away in the preview. Change logo and Remove logo swap it or take it off.
Fixes in the portal, tickets and translations
When a portal ticket is closed, the client gets an email, and in the portal “My tickets” is now “Portal tickets”. A new portal has its link from the start, and if a notice can’t go out, the error says why. In Economic Health, the “At-risk Only” filter works. Invitations arrive in the inviter’s language, signup suggests the country for your time zone and “Hide project code” now does what it says. Client creation, the SMTP settings and other screens are now translated too.
Issues are now called tasks, and subtasks, jobs
Only the names change, across the whole app: menus, screens, notices and emails. In Project Management you’ll see Tasks, My Tasks and New task, and in projects, the calendar and the timer, Jobs and Add job. URLs and the API stay the same, so links you already sent by email still open.
A redesigned client portal, with a dark mode
The portal is now laid out like a client area: your agency at the top, a side menu with Summary, Reports and Support, reports in a list and the support form next to the tickets. Your client picks a light or dark theme and the portal remembers it. It keeps your brand’s main colour and typeface.
Validation status in Project Management
A step before Done: when the team finishes a task, the client reviews it before it counts as done. They approve it by changing the status, to Done if it’s right or back to Todo if not. While it waits, it stays in the assignee’s My Tasks.
An inbox for guests, and emails per project
People from outside see in their Inbox the tasks sent for validation and the team’s comments. Turn it on in the project and they also get it by email. It’s off by default.
Each person’s month, in Statistics
In monthly dedication, click a person’s bar to open their month: the total, days worked, the average, the hours for each day and every time line, which you can correct right there.
Tasks that are easier to read
Jobs move into the task’s properties box, there are two new labels (Development and Frontend), labels are listed alphabetically and the guest portal now works well on mobile.
Fuller My Tasks and Inbox
My Tasks shows all your open tasks, in Todo and Backlog. The Inbox gets the comments on every task in your projects even if you don’t follow it: if a client writes, someone finds out.
Guest access that doesn’t expire
Links for people from outside no longer expire: to take someone’s access away, you remove them from the project. And the button in their emails takes them to their portal.
Project Management for the whole team
Anyone in the company can create projects, manage their members, invite people from outside and edit the project’s home page.
Guests no longer see assignments
People from outside no longer see who tasks are assigned to. Also, the + on each list creates the task in that list, and the Inbox keeps the activity of deleted tasks.
Project Management
A new section to run projects in detail: tasks with priority, labels and several assignees; jobs, timer, attachments, comments and activity history; and access for people from outside. Everything updates instantly for whoever is looking, and the hours still count in the project they belong to.
Client portal
A portal for each client, with no account or password: reports with charts, a home page and tickets. It opens with a private link or is embedded on their website, and any role in your company can manage it.
Deleting with a safety net
Before you delete a client or a department, Wolovy shows you what would be lost and asks you to confirm. To delete a company, you have to type its name.
Edit a ticket
Whoever opens a ticket can correct its title, text and attachments while it’s still open.
