Where you track

Right where you’re already working

There’s a play button wherever an hour of work starts. You don’t choose which project it’s billed to: the task, the event or the ticket decides.

Tasks and jobs

Every Project Management task has its play button, in the list and in the detail. If it has jobs, you pick one and the time goes to that pair.

Projects

From the project card or its jobs, in Projects, Maintenance or the Dashboard.

Calendar

An event starts the timer on its project or on the job you choose.

Tickets

A ticket linked to a project tracks time straight into that project.

Resume a line

In the day view, any earlier line resumes with one click.

Always in sight

The running timer stays in the sidebar: client, project, code and pause.

Time tracking

The timer lives where you work

Not in another tab or another app. Press play on the task you have open and that hour already counts in the project, in the statistics and in profitability. No exporting.

Give a project an hour limit, or a monthly one for maintenance work. In Profitability the project turns yellow at 80% and red once it goes over: you see it before, not after.

Corrections

Hours get fixed without a fight

Day view

Clock-in time, clock-out time and the day’s total. Every line can be adjusted by hand, and new lines added.

A forgotten timer inflates nothing

An entry never runs past the day it started. At 23:59 company time, open timers close on their own.

Clear permissions

Everyone fixes their own hours. Admins and Project Managers can open anyone’s day.

Maintenance

Recurring work, month by month

A maintenance project carries its service, a monthly limit and one row per month with the hours logged and that month’s notes. The current month is marked for you and the row turns red once it goes over the limit.

Reports

The hours, wherever you look for them

Monthly statistics

Hours per person and per project. Open someone to see days worked, average per day, daily bars and the split by project.

Project dedication

Each person’s hours and share of the project, with the day-by-day detail.

Daily email summary

Monday to Friday, at the time you choose (18:00 by default), everyone gets their total and the split by project. You switch it on for the whole company.

And through the API

With a read-only API key you pull each person’s timeline and the month’s dedication.

Questions

About time tracking

Can I run two timers at once?

No. Each person has one, across all their companies. Start another and the previous one closes at that moment.

What if someone leaves the timer running?

It closes on its own at 23:59 company time. An entry never runs past the day it started.

Who can change the hours?

Everyone, their own. Admins and Project Managers, anyone’s on the team.

Does it warn when a project reaches its limit?

Once reached, the figure turns red with a warning, and in Profitability the project turns yellow at 80%. The timer is never blocked.

Which project does a task’s time go to?

The project the task is linked to. The server decides, not the person tracking.

Can outside guests track time?

No. People from outside see and comment on tasks, but they have no timer.

Can I get the hours out of Wolovy?

Through the API, with a read-only key: each person’s timeline and the month’s dedication.

One tool. The whole agency.
